How much longer will we keep pretending that our way of experiencing the world is the same as theirs? Fulcrum is a standing stool for office spaces meant for below the knee amputees.
Amputees are constantly denied the basics
Moreover, we seem to just add on top of it, without addressing their actual wishes
What does being an amputee entail?
Stripped away of necessary needs

Throughout the market research, multiple things were found out, such as the need for both legs to properly stabilize most standing stool
Sketches
Through multiple sketches and paper prototypes, ideas came to be realized.
Prototyping
Based the measurements on the average woman, and using my body for movement numbers.
How does it work
The person comes in and sits their leg on the support, they then simply align properly while leaving their can on the side.
Modeling
The modeling includes different designs, as well as mechanisms such as the pin and an angled seat that can be easily switched between seating sessions.
The rendering was then based on 3 different office asthetics: modern, industrial and resimercial.
